Why I'm Running

As Fall Creek Township Assessor for the past two years, I have seen first hand how painful the property tax has become to families. I remember calling my state representative in early 2007 and encouraging him to take steps to eliminate the property tax. When he told me that would be “political suicide,” I suddenly realized why government is so unresponsive to citizens these days. We have too many politicians who love their positions more than they love their constituents.
